Julie has over 20 years aviation experience. Julie joined SES as CEO in 2013 after 15 years at GECAS. Under her stewardship SES has grown significantly, including building the largest portfolio of LEAP spare engines and expanding our customer reach and customer solutions.
Prior to joining SES Julie was SVP & GM of GECAS Engine Leasing and held previous roles in Operations and Six Sigma. Before moving to Ireland, Julie previously worked for Standard Bank of South Africa in Johannesburg and 3M in the UK.
Julie has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in economics from University of Kwazulu-Natal Pietermaritzburg, South Africa
Michael brings almost 25 years of commercial aviation finance and leadership experience to SES. Michael began his aviation career in SES in 1996. Having spent a number of years as Chief Commercial and Operating Officer at Macquarie’s engine leasing business and subsequently as CFO Head of Commercial Operations at Aergo Capital returned to SES as CFO in 2016.
Michael holds a degree in Business from the University of Limerick, is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and was recently awarded an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London.
Tadhg joined SES in 2001 as Engineering Manager with responsibility for the technical management of SES’ lease engine portfolios and technical services provider relationship management. During his time with SES Tadhg has also held the role of VP Technical, SVP Head of Commercial Operations and now holds the role of Chief Commercial Officer.
Prior to SES Tadhg was team leader and licensed aircraft engineer in heavy maintenance with Lufthansa Technik Shannon (previously known as Shannon Aerospace Ltd).
Tadhg holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aviation Technology from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Finance from University College, Cork.
Marion joined SES in 1998 solely responsible for contracts, in 2013 Marion was promoted with oversight and responsibility for Contracts and Legal function in accordance with SES business strategy regarding each of these areas.
In respect of Contracts and Legal, Marion is responsible for operational activity, including transaction negotiations to contract execution, insurances, and engine deliveries.
More recently Marion was appointed to lead the IT function managing SES IT infrastructure, supporting strategic plans and business requirements for implementing information technologies.
Prior to joining SES, Marion spent four years at Law firm in Limerick when the opportunity arose to join an aviation leasing business in Shannon.
Ivan joined SES in 1999 as an Engineering Manager with responsibility for customer project management having previously held Team leader and licensed aircraft engineer roles with Shannon Aerospace Ltd. In his current position since 2008, with responsibility for leading the Technical function in SES overseeing all aspects of technical lease management, supplier relationships, CFM56 and LEAP portfolio management, engine maintenance and shop visits of the SES owned and managed portfolio of engines.
Ivan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aviation Technology from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership from University College, Cork.
Dave joined SES in 2010 as SVP Risk Management also having responsibility for International Tax. This role has expanded to include heading Commercial Operations. During that time SES’ engine portfolio has expanded to over 380 engines with customers based in over one hundred countries. As Head of Risk Management and Compliance, Dave is responsible for all credit, jurisdictional and asset placement risk management decisions.
Dave has over 25 years business experience in a range of sectors including aviation leasing, venture capital, equity investment, property investment and business advisory services. Dave is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business degree (Hons.) from the University of Limerick.
Caroline joined the SES in 2014 in her current role she is responsible for SES’s people strategy. Caroline drives key Human Resources best practices and initiatives and provides strategic direction to the organisation.
Caroline has 14 years HR experience in employee engagement, talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits. Prior to SES, Caroline held various HR roles with organisations in financial services, medical device, and manufacturing sectors. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Limerick.
